Pruune for iPhone — coming soon

Clean up your camera roll without hating the process.

Pruune is a calmer way to deal with the 12,000 photos on your phone. Swipe through them one at a time, see exactly what each one is costing you, and shrink the ones you want to keep. No bulk delete panic. No storage warnings at 3am. Just a quiet, honest way to take your phone back.

The quiet problem

You've been meaning to deal with your photos
for two years.

Your phone has 14,000 photos on it. You haven't looked at most of them since the day you took them. You've gotten the storage warning so many times you've stopped reading it. You've thought about deleting some but the idea of opening your camera roll and starting to choose makes you tired before you even begin.

So you don't. You buy more iCloud storage, or you ignore it, or you delete a few apps to buy yourself another month. The photos stay. The feeling stays. Nothing actually changes.

Pruune is for that.

The mechanic

One photo. One swipe. Move on.

Pruune brings each photo forward by itself and lets you decide with the same gesture you already use a hundred times a day. Swipe right to keep it. Swipe left to let it go. Swipe up if it's worth keeping but worth shrinking. That's the whole loop.

Real interaction from the app

What makes Pruune different

Most apps ask if you want to keep it. Pruune asks what it's costing you.

Two small things no other photo app does, and they change everything about how cleanup feels.

The cost

You see the real size, before you decide.

Most cleanup apps hide file sizes until you're done. Pruune shows you exactly what each photo weighs while you're looking at it — so "keep" and "delete" stop being abstract. You know what the decision is actually worth.

The third option

And then you get a third button.

Some photos are worth keeping but not worth keeping huge. Swipe up to compress and Pruune shrinks the file without touching the memory. Most photos drop 50–70% in size and look identical. You stop choosing between holding on and letting go.

Why we built it

Practical, but still soft around the edges.

Most cleanup apps treat your camera roll like a database problem. Pruune treats it like a drawer of stuff you actually care about. Some of it should go. Some of it should stay. Some of it should stay but smaller. That's it. That's the whole philosophy.

We made Pruune because we wanted an app like this and couldn't find one. If that sounds like you too, you're going to like it here.
