Privacy Policy — Kazakit

Effective Date: June 4, 2026
Last Updated: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mio Kaza Studio LLC ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use Kazakit (the "App"), a local-first macOS app for organizing creative projects.

1. Who We Are

2. Summary

Kazakit does not require an account, does not show ads, does not track you, and does not use third-party analytics or third-party crash-reporting services. Your core workspace data is stored locally on your Mac.

3. Information Stored Locally

When you use Kazakit, the App stores the information you create or choose to add, such as projects, tasks, issues, notes, wiki or documentation pages, events, changelog entries, goals, time and focus records, activity entries, notifications, moodboards, canvas data, assets, folders, app settings, onboarding state, and interface preferences.

This information is stored in local app storage, including Kazakit's SQLite database, local settings files, browser storage used by the app shell, and local asset folders in the app data directory.

4. Files and Assets

If you select or drag files into Kazakit, the App reads those files so it can save local copies in your workspace. Images may be optimized and thumbnails may be created locally. Kazakit does not upload those files to our servers.

5. Information We Do Not Collect

Kazakit does not collect your workspace content, personal notes, project files, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, payment information, or account credentials. Kazakit does not sell personal information and does not use your data for tracking.

6. Apple Diagnostics and Crash Reports

Kazakit does not include a third-party crash-reporting SDK. If you choose to share diagnostic data with Apple and app developers, Apple may provide us with crash reports or diagnostic summaries for Kazakit. We use those reports only to fix bugs and improve app stability.

Kazakit may open external links, such as the Kazakit website or an email link, in your default browser or mail app. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond to your request, investigate bugs, or improve Kazakit.

8. Deleting Your Data

You can delete local Kazakit data from inside the App by going to Settings and using Reset All Data. This clears local projects, tasks, notes, settings, and related app storage, then restarts the App. On macOS, uninstalling an app may not remove Application Support data, so resetting from inside Kazakit or manually deleting the app data folder may be needed for a full local cleanup.

If you contacted us by email and want that support conversation deleted, send a request to hello@miokaza.com.

9. Children

Kazakit is a general productivity app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kazakit changes. If we add features that collect data off your device, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before releasing those features.
